The facility inspection app for wards, clinics and care homes

SiteSnag is an inspection app for estates teams and ward managers in hospitals, GP surgeries, dental practices and care homes. It includes a clinical environment check and a fire and safety walk-round. Each finding is a photo with built-in wording and a responsible team, and the visit ends with a Facility Inspection Report on the phone.

Why SiteSnag

Built for healthcare inspections done on a phone.

Environment audits on paper that end as a tick sheet with nothing to show what the sluice looked like.

Every finding has photos, and you can circle the stain or point an arrow at the sharps bin before you save it.

Findings emailed to estates, domestic services and pharmacy with nobody sure whose job each one is.

Each finding has a responsible team, from domestic services to medical engineering. The report can group findings by team so each one sees its own list.

Cloud forms that fail halfway through a visit to a plant room or basement.

SiteSnag runs offline on the phone with no login, and nothing leaves the device unless you share the report or turn on Pro backup.

No record that the ward manager saw the findings on the day.

The ward manager and the inspector can both sign on screen at the end of the visit, and the signatures go into the Facility Inspection Report.

Built-in checklists

Clinical environment check and Fire and safety walk-round, ready on day one.

These are the checklists SiteSnag adds when you choose healthcare. Tick them on your phone with pass or fail, yes or no, readings and condition ratings, and they go straight into the PDF. Edit them or build your own.

FAQ

Healthcare questions.

Is this a CQC inspection checklist?

No. SiteSnag isn’t linked to the CQC and its checklists aren’t a regulatory inspection tool. They’re for your own checks of the care environment, from cleanliness and sharps to medicines storage and fire safety. The photos and dated reports give you a record of what you found and when it was put right.

Can I record the medicines fridge temperature?

Yes. The clinical environment check has number answers for the medicines fridge and the room temperature, next to checks such as whether the fridge is locked and the daily record is complete. If a reading is out of range, add it as a finding with a photo of the display so pharmacy can see it.

Does any patient information leave the phone?

SiteSnag keeps inspections in a database on the device and doesn’t need an account. Nothing is uploaded unless you share a report or turn on Pro backup, which goes to your own iCloud or Google Drive. Avoid photographing patients or their records, because every photo you take can end up in the report.

Can I add our own audit as a checklist?

You can write your own checklist and choose yes/no, number or condition answers for each item. That suits a hand hygiene observation, a mattress audit or a weekly check of little-used water outlets. Your checklists sit next to the clinical environment check and the fire and safety walk-round, and the results go into the same PDF.
