The hotel room inspection app for housekeeping and maintenance

SiteSnag is a hotel inspection app for housekeeping managers, general managers and maintenance teams. It has a guest room inspection that goes from the door and bed to the bathroom and amenities. A second checklist covers reception, corridors and the restaurant and bar, and every finding is given a department in the Property Inspection Report.

Why SiteSnag

Built for hospitality inspections done on a phone.

Room sheets that say “bathroom: fail”, leaving maintenance to go and find out why.

A finding is a photo and a save, with wording such as a slow-draining shower or a key card lock fault ready to pick. Mark up the photo to show the exact tap or tile.

Housekeeping and maintenance jobs mixed together on one list.

Each finding is given a department such as housekeeping or maintenance, and the report can group findings by department.

Wi-fi that drops out in the cellar, the plant room or a basement corridor.

SiteSnag keeps every inspection on the phone and needs no account, so a weak signal never holds up the walk-round or the report.

Owners and operators who expect a tidy report and get a spreadsheet.

The PDF carries your logo and colours in one of four styles, with a summary at the front and as many photos per finding as you choose.

Built-in checklists

Guest room inspection and Public areas inspection, ready on day one.

These are the checklists SiteSnag adds when you choose hospitality. Tick them on your phone with pass or fail, yes or no, readings and condition ratings, and they go straight into the PDF. Edit them or build your own.

FAQ

Hospitality questions.

Can I inspect a whole floor of rooms in one go?

Set up one inspection for the property and add the rooms you’re checking as areas, such as Room 214 and Room 215, then work along the corridor. Each finding is filed under the room you’re in. The report can group findings by room, by department or by severity, depending on who’s reading it.

Does it suit a small B&B or holiday let?

Property types include B&Bs, inns with rooms, serviced apartments and holiday lets. The free version covers one inspection, including the PDF report, so you can try it on your own property. Pro gives you unlimited inspections, automatic backup and reports with only your branding.

Can the duty manager sign off the inspection?

Yes. The duty manager and the inspector can both sign on the screen at the end of the walk-round, and the signatures appear in the report. The cover page shows the inspector and the property separately. You send the finished PDF through the phone’s share sheet, by email or a messaging app.

Can I match the checklist to our brand standards?

Build a checklist from your own brand standards or edit the built-in guest room inspection, with yes/no, number and condition answers for each item. The finding wording can be edited too, and you can add your own. Terms such as Department or Inspector can be renamed, and the new names carry into the PDF.
