The factory audit app for health and safety and 5S

SiteSnag is an audit app for health and safety advisers and production managers in factories, workshops and warehouses. It includes a workplace safety inspection and a 5S audit. Each finding gets photos and an owner, and you walk off the shop floor with a Site Audit Report finished on your phone.

Why SiteSnag

Built for manufacturing inspections done on a phone.

Clipboard audits typed into a spreadsheet days later, when nobody remembers which machine it was.

Each finding is a photo and a save, filed under an area such as Production line 1 or the loading bay.

Actions raised on the audit that drift because nobody owns them.

Every finding has an owner, from maintenance to the warehouse team, and the report can group findings by owner so each team sees its own actions.

Photographing a damaged racking upright in a generic form app and then describing it from scratch.

Built-in wording covers findings such as missing machine guards and damaged racking. Start typing to pick the match, then circle the damage or add a measurement on the photo.

Signal that drops out inside steel-framed buildings and cold stores.

SiteSnag works offline and needs no account, so the whole audit runs on the phone wherever you are on site.

Built-in checklists

Workplace safety inspection and 5S audit, ready on day one.

These are the audit checklists SiteSnag adds when you choose manufacturing. Tick them on your phone with pass or fail, yes or no, readings and condition ratings, and they go straight into the PDF. Edit them or build your own.

FAQ

Manufacturing questions.

Can I run a 5S audit with it?

The built-in 5S audit has a section for each of the five steps, from sort and set in order through to sustain. It finishes with a 5S score out of 25, entered as a number, and a check that previous audit actions were closed out. Anything out of place can be photographed as a finding with an owner.

Is this a pallet racking inspection?

The workplace safety inspection covers storage and racking, including damaged uprights or beams and safe working load notices. It’s a visual walk-round check and doesn’t replace an inspection by a qualified racking inspector. When you find damage, record it as a finding with a photo so the owner can deal with it.

Can several auditors use it on the same site?

Each auditor runs SiteSnag on their own phone, and audits stay on that device because there are no shared team accounts. Every auditor sends their Site Audit Report as a PDF through the share sheet to whoever needs it. With Pro, each phone backs up to its owner’s iCloud or Google Drive.

Can I change the terms to match our system?

The app already calls them findings, audits and owners. You can rename 26 terms, for example Finding to Non-conformance or Owner to Action owner. Whatever you choose appears in the PDF as well as on screen.
