Why SiteSnag

Built for insurance inspections done on a phone.

Moisture readings jotted on a notepad with no record of which room they came from.

The escape of water checklist records wall, floor and dry reference readings as numbers. Each damage item gets a numbered pin on the floor plan, so the report shows which rooms were affected.

Writing up the claim at night from photos you can no longer place.

Each damage item is a photo and a save, filed under the room you’re in. Built-in wording covers damage from storm and flood through to subsidence and escape of water.

A policyholder who later disputes what was recorded on the day.

The policyholder and the assessor can both sign on screen, and the signatures go into the Claim Inspection Report with the photos.

A single photo that can’t show how far the damage spreads across a ceiling or wall.

Each damage item holds as many photos as you need, from a wide shot of the room to a close-up of the staining, and you can draw a measurement on any of them.

Built-in checklists

Property damage claim inspection and Escape of water inspection, ready on day one.

These are the checklists SiteSnag adds when you choose insurance. Tick them on your phone with pass or fail, yes or no, readings and condition ratings, and they go straight into the PDF. Edit them or build your own.

FAQ

Insurance questions.

Does it work in a flooded property with the power off?

Yes. SiteSnag needs no signal, wi-fi or account, and everything is saved on the phone as you go. You can take photos, record readings, draw the floor plan and get signatures without a connection. The report is created offline too, and you share the PDF once you have signal again.

Can I import the property’s floor plan?

You can import a plan as an image, such as a photo of an estate agent’s floor plan or a screenshot of one. PDF plans can’t be imported, so take a screenshot of the page first. If there’s no plan at all, draw the rooms by tapping their corners and the numbered pins work in the same way.

Can the report go to the insurer as a Word or Excel file?

SiteSnag produces a PDF only, which you send through the phone’s share sheet by email or any other app. The report style, logo and accent colour are yours to set, along with how many photos appear for each damage item. Past PDFs are kept with each claim.

Can I describe the damage by voice?

You can dictate into any field and your words appear as text while you speak, which helps when you’re holding a moisture meter. SiteSnag doesn’t record audio or keep voice notes. On supported phones, Pro can also draft report wording on the device itself.
