The store audit app for area managers and retail auditors

SiteSnag is a store audit app for area managers, retail auditors and store managers. It comes with a store standards audit that runs from the windows to the stockroom, plus a health and safety check for the shop. Findings are photographed during the visit and become a Store Audit Report you can send before you leave.

Why SiteSnag

Built for retail inspections done on a phone.

Visit forms that come back as ticks, with the photos sent separately on WhatsApp.

Every finding carries its own photos in the report, marked up to show the gap on the shelf or the missing shelf-edge price.

Findings that sit on a list with nobody’s name against them.

Each finding is assigned to someone such as the store manager or the stockroom team, and the report can group findings by who’s responsible.

Checking last visit’s actions by digging through old emails.

Past reports are kept on the phone with the visit they came from, so last month’s PDF is there to open as you walk into the store.

Writing up the week’s store visits on a Friday afternoon.

The report is finished in the store with a summary and the store manager’s signature, ready to share before you get back in the car.

Built-in checklists

Store standards audit and Store health and safety check, ready on day one.

These are the visit checklists SiteSnag adds when you choose retail. Tick them on your phone with pass or fail, yes or no, readings and condition ratings, and they go straight into the PDF. Edit them or build your own.

FAQ

Retail questions.

Can the store manager sign the visit report?

Yes. The store manager and the auditor can both sign on screen at the end of the visit, and the signatures appear in the Store Audit Report. That gives you a record that the store saw the findings on the day. The cover page shows the auditor and the store separately.

Does it work across a large estate of stores?

Each store visit is set up on its own with a store type, such as supermarket, convenience store or concession. The free version covers one visit, while Pro gives you unlimited visits and automatic backup. There’s no shared team account, so each area manager uses SiteSnag on their own phone.

Can I use our own visit checklist?

Build your own from your brand standards with yes or no, number and condition answers, or edit the built-in store standards audit. Number answers suit counts and readings such as chiller temperatures, and condition answers suit the shop front and fitting rooms. The answers go straight into the PDF.

Can I export the findings to Excel?

No. SiteSnag produces a PDF report, shared from the phone by email or any messaging app. Inside the report you can group findings by severity or by who’s responsible, so the store manager sees the most serious points first while head office can read them by owner.
